Do you have a picture? It is a solid piece? And is it easily removable? If it is easily removable you can built a box the height of the increase you need, and place the vanity on top. But you would need to make sure that pipes for water are going to fit properly, if you do that. You would probably need to extend all of that so a sink runs and drains properly.

It depends on what exactly you’re working with, but one of the easiest ways might be to take off the sink portion, leaving the base, and then place a solid slab with a raised sink bowl.

Obviously this would take some work, but for the price of a solid piece of wood or stone and a raised sink bowl you could raise it potentially several inches (depends on how deep your current sink is). If you’re having trouble seeing the vanity, a clever lighting solution is to hang a couple pendant lights on each side of your mirror. Since they are lower than traditional vanity lights, they shed more light on the sink area. Another bonus is that they provide a more natural lighting on your face, as opposed to how a higher spotlight would. Some pendants or mini pendants like these would work well:

When I refurbished our bath, I chose vessel sinks in turquoise glass which stand on the counter. This made my too short cabinets more usable. Test drive the difference by setting a large salad serving bowl on your counter.
