Leave covered for at least 24 hours, the baking soda will dry and pull up much of the stain.

There are products that you can purchase to get stains out. Do an on-line search.

sounds like something hot was set on the granite. I don't know of anything that gets any stain out of granite.

Try making a baking soda paste and let sit on the stain for a while.

Try combining 3 tablespoons rubbing alcohol, 1 1/2 cups water and 1teaspoon Castile or dish soap, mix together and put into spray bottle. Spray on stain let soak a few minutes and wipe with microfiber cloth. It may take a few times but it should help remove the stain. You can use this solution on all of your granite or marble countertops to get them sparkly clean
