What can I put over my popcorn ceilings in my mobile home?

I would prefer not to take the circle things and trim off the ceiling, just like to cover it up the cheapest and easiest.

years ago I believe in Woman's Day mag, they covered a ceiling with lattice and put artificial flowers helter skelter in some of the holes. Always wanted to try it but never did. I would have painted ceiling blue first. I believe the lattice was hung from short chains and cup hooks in the ceiling.
Just scrape it.
