How to remove the plastic protective coating from appliances?

When my new Stainless Steel Refrig was delivered the installers removed the plastic protective coating that was on the front panels. However, it did not come completely off and so around all of the edges there are tiny pieces that are too small to grab so I need to find a way to remove them. Any ideas?

Do you mean under the knobs? Do the knobs come off? Maybe you could get a grip of the plastic with tweezers? I've never had the plastic under parts of the appliance making it difficult to remove.
