The Best Way to Clean Up Cast Iron and Brass
Add water and boil for a while
Put baking powder and water into the pot. Heat on the stove and then let sit for a while. This should loosen any burns you have. Use a scrubbie which does not scratch and you should be able to remove the residue.
Penny, you need to start a new thread for each question. Burned on food I soak in baking soda and water.
boil white vinegar on it
Boil with lemon juice
Soak the pot with warm water and Dawn detergent, then scrub it with Cerama Bryte.
Add hot - almost boiling water and add a dryer sheet to it.
