I had a bay window at my old house. I used sheets and a scarf on top. You can mix or match the sheer and scarf along with a stylish curtain rod.
Levelor has spring loaded shades, no cord, honeycomb style.
I personally would not cover that window up being its a bay window, those are ment to be noticed when entering the room. Add panel honeycomb pleated shades in each window or fabric ones the will match you furniture.
Please help, I also have that big bay window and I don't how to put curtains up or not.
I love my top down/bottom up shades For privacy and glare control. They come in many colors and textures and are pretty easy to mount (at the top of the window, so no chance of being uneven).
Id eliminate the cornice and install a swinging curtain rod on your end window and get a couple of panels of fun full-length curtains. This will extend the “width” to the eye and liven up the room. Get one extra curtain panel and make a couple of matching pillows.
If you’re more traditional than that, use a linen or whatever fabric for the cornice, but move cornice up to the ceiling. Then also curtain the whole width of the window from about 1-1+1/2 feet above the windowsill to the floor. That’s probably about 48” high. You could use a great subtle stripe, depending on the decor in your room and heart. But it would work with your wicker and the leather too.
