How to hide castors on a 15 drawer storage piece

My husband recently re-purposed a 15 drawer cabinet that is 48" wide. He wants to add castors but doesn't want them to show since he put a lot of work into the makeover...suggestions to hide the castors? We were thinking decorative feet like you would see on a buffet table...two or three inches tall? He painted the cabinet a dark blue with lighter blue drawers. Help! Thanks!

Possible mount the casters back a few inches from the front and side and hide behind wooden fennel braces.
It sounds as if he needs to be more concerned about stability in a chest that size. But with wide enough casters, if he buys the kind with the metal post extending upward, he can buy four legs and drill the space for the casters. Or maybe he can find some that sink into their base, which would show less hardware. āŗļø
Or build a "skirt" to hide the casters. Can you post a photo?
Agree - add skirting boards across the bottom of the sides that will show when the piece is placed, that way, you can add as many casters as needed to properly support the piece.

The other option is to add a 1x2" apron along the base and mount the wheels so they just show about an inch to roll, but you can't see the hardware.
Naomie and Sharon have the right idea. That is exactly what I do. I build a "skirt" around the bottom to hide the casters about 1/2" off the ground.
Hi Kimberly...put castors about 1" away from the edge of the corners and sides and mitre a panel all the way around the bottom to hide them.
Add faux legs that are hollow or corner wood that matches to cover those.
