    Hi Ancharat,

Click below to read an article about painting over wax - what won't work and what might. There are different methods for different types of wax. Wishing you the best.

You can sand it down. The paint will adhere to it.:-)

You must remove the wax first by applying degreaser with a towel and letting it sit for at least 10 minutes. Rub the wax away as well as you can. This can clog up a towel, so you might want to gather old newspapers for this part and just throw the wax-covered newsprint. You may need to repeat this step.

Next, use a plastic scrubber to scrub/wash the surface using a degreasing soap like Dawn. Then sand the surface with fine (80) grit to smooth the surface and clean any residual wax, Using a roller, apply a layer of primer paint specially made for covering wax. Let it dry. You may wish to apply two layers of primer.

Now you are ready to start painting. Use any wall paint and a roller for application. You may need to apply 2 coats of your wall paint as well, letting them dry in between coats.
