Lightly sand the rusty areas, clean use a spray primer for metal, allow to dry, apply two light coats of Rustoleum2X for metal, allow to dry and seal with a Clear UV protectant

First remove the rust with a wire brush, sandpaper or a commercial rust remover. Wash the bench with TSP well, then use Rust-Oleum spray paint for metal. Preparation for painting is a must.

Sand it down lightly with steel wool. Wipe the dust off, then spray with garden hose. Buy a paint for outdoors so the bench don't rust. Check out Rusteloum

TSP is Tri-Sodium Phosphate. a great cleaner. It comes in powder form and can be found in an orange-redish and white box in any paint department. It will remove any grime and shine from paint. Rinse well. Please, do not get the new "pretend" TSP as it does not clean as well.

Hi, use steel wool to take off any barbs, clean it and use Tremclad or Rustoleum paint

Rustoleum. You can use a wire brush to remove rust, clean with tsp, rinse thoroughly, use the rustoleum that included a primer. Have fun with a bright color.
