At thrift store, I found this little cabinet with broken door.
The store owner even gave me a discount for this, it resulted $15 at last. It has simple and cute style already, but since I happen to be a color lover.icon
Here is what I‘ve done with this cabinet makeover.
This is what I found at used-furniture store.
Step 1. Get materials and tools ready.

Materials I prepared were;
- Wrapping paper with botanical design
- wall sticker -if you preferred
- knobs or handle of doors.

Other tools I needed are very simple like almost everyone has one each at home.

Tools;
- woodworking glue(ones become transparent once it's dry)
- water (very little amount is needed))
- paper cup(or any empty container)
- paint brush
- scissors
Step 2. Get the glue ready.

Using paper cup and brush, mix the woodworking glue with little bit of water. Please be careful not to add too much water because it will be difficult to get dried and usually happen to be dripping as it gets watery.
Step 3. Measure the cabinet and cut the paper.

As it sounds so simple, I always have problem with this process. What I usually do to avoid ended up having too small parts or too big parts. I put the paper on the actual cabinet which the paper is expected to be put and press hard enough to get marks on the edges.

And of course I measure the actual sizes of each sides to match, then cut the paper/cloth, in case of cloth.
Step 4. Apply paper on each sides.

Starting one side of edge, then slowly proceed towards to the end. Please do not forget to press as you process so that side will not have air trapped there.

When applying papers is finished, make sure it gets dried well.
Step 5. After dried, apply the same glue on surface.

This is to protect it while in use since it's still a wrapping paper, not very strong like wall paper. In case the wall paper was your choice to use, this step may not be necessary.
Step 6. Change knob and...This is the final look!

I try to see what would knobs or handles be nicer on this mini-cabinet and this is what I chose. A crystal looking small knobs.
Since my house has lots of colors and patterns everywhere, the original simple design wasn't really matched. Now it finally looks like my taste of mini-cabinet with colorsicon

    Are those the original doors? Loved the way you used the woodglue.

    Very cute! I especially like that it is on legs and love the crystal knobs. I have some vintage door knobs I use in my projects.

      I also wish J could get hold of that type of glass.
