What kind of adapter do I need to connect our Firestick to a non-HDTV television? Is it a VGA to HDMI and where can I find the right one?

The firestick has an HDMI output. If your TV has one, it will work. No HDMI, and it will not. Does not matter if your TV is smart or not. So you will need a convereter.
