Best way to remove lichen on patio?

Has anyone any idea as to what I can use to remove the small dark circles of, I think,lichen on my pavers . My patio is surrounded by boarders so I can't use anything toxic. Many thanks. Jakki

My friends use vinegar and power wash.
Have you considered trying to power wash it?

It depends on how you use it? While cooking on the stove at the same time or near the fridge to butter & jam the toast. Or near the coffee maker for a quick escape out the door to work.
