Window boxes, generally get a LOT of sun, and because of that, need LOTS of water, so
#1 be sure to purchase drought/full sun tolerant flowers for your zone, and;
#take a couple of water bottles, filled with water, and invert them upside down into the dirt. This water will slowly drip into the soil. Of course, you will have to refil them every day. Good Luck!
