    Good luck!

  • I want to try this in a shower, my tile person quoted $1,000 for the job! Even if it's more expensive than tile I like you don't have to rip out the old tile!

I bought it to use as a backsplash, but found it very hard to cut accurately, it would shatter in spots. It was pretty to look at, and like you, I had hoped to find an easy tile-over, but I ended up not using it because the minuses were greater than the plusses. If you have an installer that is experienced in installing this item, I'd say go for it. But for a do-it-yourselfer, I'd go with something that has an easier application.

Worst product I have ever used! The color rubs right off of the tile leaving white marks on the tile! I am currently ripping my shower apart after just getting it finished because it looked so horrible!!! I brought home a new box and while opening it I grazed one of the tiles with my smooth ring and it took the color off AGAIN!!! To say I am furious is am understatement! As you can see right on the packaging it says SCRATCH RESISTANT well technically that is true, however they fail to mention that the color comes off instead of leaving a true scratch. The photos show what it looked like from wiping the silicone off of the edges with a flexible rubber caulking/silicone tool and a microfiber cloth! I have had to spend almost $100 just to reattach the damaged pieces on top of what I already spent! I plan on filing a formal complaint with the company. Will post with an update when I hear back from the company!

We just finished doing our neo round shower with the Duma Wall application. We were very thorough with tight seams caulked with silicone using Fiberboard and a complete gallon of Red Guard - probably 4 coats. We used the larger style in Wintry Mix. We get so many compliments. It looks like a high end bathroom now! The Customer Service was excellent to answer all my questions.

Hi, Stephanie! Has this still gone well for you guys? I wanted to see if you could clarify what you mean by Fiberboard? Was that a type of silicone? Or actual board (which seemed odd given that it's a shower). I'm looking at using the Wintry Mix also. Is it a creamy color or more off white?
