Looking to increase the size of a shower stall

We have a shower stall in a basement 1/2 bath which measures 32” x 32”. We’d like to remove this and re-install with a larger unit - 36” x 36”. Our problem is the drain, which is in concrete and located for the 32” unit.
What’s the best way to increase the shower size without having to re-work the concrete?

I have seen shower floors with offset drains, so there must be a maker of these shower floors. Google it! Also, maybe you can "do it yourself" by using a shower floor base that has no drain hole??? Personally, I'd check with my plumber first!

As long as the floor to the shower drains to the drain, it shouldn't be a problem if it isn't centered, make sure the drain stays the lowest point.

If you tile the shower floor, you can slope the wet bed to the drain. It would probably be best to have a tile guy do that. You'd have a better chance of not having puddles that don't drain.
