Ideas to recycle 3 huge dresser mirrors sitting in closet?

Question

I dont want to hang them on the wall as they are very heavy and very thick.  Would like to make smaller projects.  How can I cut them up into smaller pieces, maybe use glass cutters?

If you are thinking of cutting the mirrors, I would suggest going to a glass shop with them and ask them to do it. They can cut and “sand” the edges for you.

Yes they can be cut. I once saw a vendor at a craft fair who had irregular shapes of glass (no worries about cutting straight lines) she would soldier along the edges (kind of in wavy lines/circles etc.), some had charms stuck on the soldier (glued? soldiered on?), she added jump rings to the top for chain she used to hang them by. A few had etched words along the bottom ie. believe, love, etc. Some had vintage jewelry for embellishment. Least I say I got all my Christmas shopping at that booth including one for me!! LOL
