How to maintain outside tables in the winter?

I saw on here that you can use placemats for your out side table they were nice. But then how can you keep it on during the winter

I only put my placemats, table cloths and runners out when I am going to use them. Rest of the time they are in my linen drawers.
If you want a cover on during the winter I would look at using an oilcloth table cloth or placemats. I don’t leave my placemats on the table during the winter. If you do leave a table cloth on use clothes pins to clip the corners together to secure it.
Take placements off when not in use.
You could protect the table with a cloth/cover in the winter time
