You can make a small garden easily if you have access to light. Find the spot with good morning/early afternoon light and you can use small pots to grow the hebs. If you only get hot afternoon sun you can shade the plants on the days that are really hot. Enjoy your herbs!

You can start with a large pot or dish with drainage. I usually start with four to five different herbs in mine. You will need to have it in sunlight either on a terrace or sunny window . You will have fresh herbs year round.

You can grow herbs in pots on your window sill if it is deep enough for them to be in the direct sunlight. Herbs grow like weeds if they have sunshine and water! When I wanted more, I got a rubber/plastic tower with holes in it and planted herbs up and down it. The center was a tube to put in the water for them all. They really did well and I set it in a small wash tub so the water would not go on the floor. They loved being by a big sliding glass door!
