Mail collection caddy to cover indoor utility door

Right inside our door on the walk, very noticable is the breaker box utility door it's roughly 16wide x26 long any ideas to make a mail caddy. Has to be slim so not in way of door or people walking. Thanks for any suggestions

Builders do weird things don t they? Not too sure about mail holder because of the depth. But maybe an old window frame or window with some designs in the panes would look cool.
