That is the problem I have. The door is no longer under warranty, and can’t get inside the door. I thought I could paint the glass with a striped pattern, leaving blank spaces, for light, and make sure to cover The hanging blind.

I'd learn how to take it apart and repair it. I mean, they put it together so there has to be a way to take it apart. Anything else you do with it is not going to make you happy. If it doesn't work, then put a frosted contact on the inside of the glass (since you will have already taken it apart) and just put it back together until you can afford a new door.

So what happens if the glass breaks? There should be a way to remove the glass to repair it. Did you ask the manufacturer? I found this on Lowes, https://www.lowes.com/cd_How+to+Care+for+Windows+With+Blinds+Between+Glass_1327080966_ best of luck.

Taking the double-pane window apart will break the seal and allow condensation to get in... and it will. Given the location of the sagging strip of blind, how about putting mullions on, with one going across at just that spot?

Where I live, there are vendors who sell & install just doors & windows, the same brand's as the big box stores carry. These businesses order the door units and the glass window units separately, (some in bulk I'm sure) and then they put together what the customer wants, vs the limited variations available at the Big Boxes. I moved to a house with a 1/2 lite, steel crossbuck door. The door was good, but the lite was decades old diamond grids, with frames that were yellowed vinyl. I was able to order JUST the window portion to swap in just what I wanted! Directions to install came with it and it was SOOOO easy! My cost was minimal compared to new door!

I completely understand your situation - it's sealed inside a thermopane window! See if you can order a replacement window (sealed) to replace the one in the door at a reasonable price. Otherwise, I'd go for some type of camoflage.

I have doors like that from pella, never could find a way to take blinds out totally. I googled it as well. Mine has little clips on the side that open, then the inside glass comes out. I'm guessing yours doesn't?

Naidaq maybe right with little screws.

how about spray painting the glass and leaving 2 inches clear in between each row of 4" of paint..you can do it with masking frog tape..or u can also just do the bottom leaving rows clear on top for light to shine through.

This type of window is NOT thermopane which are hermetically sealed. The trim holding the inner window in is removable, but must be done carefully and the glass removed carefully. If the picture is accurate, it looks as if just one of the strings supporting a slat has broken and that is easier to fix than a height adjusting one.

No help to offer - but this problem is precisely why we opted NOT to get this type of door. Good Luck!

If the blinds are internal and operate with pads that slide in tracks on the inside of the door, the door will need to be replaced. You cannot get inside the door to fix the blind. If your the blinds are internal but the glass pain is held on with clips, you can slide the clips open, and then you can carefully remove the glass with the blinds attached. As far as fixing the string for the blinds, I have not been able to find a solution for that yet.
