U made me an offer instead. My question was how to make a sliding barn door for a pantry & a bedroom door. Not the hardware the wood door. No offers to buy one to expensive. Thanks , Terry

You can make your own as a DIY project. You need the track (barn door railing) for the top, measured the distance of the door opening and an additional amount for the door to slide over. You need brackets to hang the wood for the door (1/2 inch plywood). Once you decide on the length you may add the cut off piece to the top to make the door wide enough to fit into the top brackets. You will also need a wheel type bracket for one corner of the door to keep it hanging and sliding straight. You will need a number of bolts, so count before you buy. The door itself can be either painted or varnished.

by the time you get the materials together you will be so close to the cost you could purchase one at lowes... we priced materials to build and it was only 50 dollars difference and you save time.
Terry Hi. We just bought one unfinished for 100.00 and hardware 60.00 at Menards. look for them to go on sale. And we got the barn rolling wheels.
Cut what wood you have to the right size and attach it to a frame that will fit the opening. Buy Sliding door kit! then hang on the kit! Otherwise use a Screen or Curtain.
