DIY Chevron Corkboard

Here's how I gave my boring corkboard some interest with pattern and color.
I started by plotting a grid on my 14 inch square board using 2" increments. Once all the points were marked, I connected them making a zig-zag pattern with a pencil.
Next, I taped off every other section with basic painter's tape, and sprayed it with a smokey turquoise color.
Two coats later and after a few hours of drying time, I carefully removed the tape.
