3 EASY DIY Easter Egg Designs

Want to know how to make unique Easter Egg designs which require little to no art skills? You've come to the right place!

Here's a quick snapshot of what you'll need to blow out your eggs. I discuss exactly how to do this over on my blog post but for the sake of time, let's go straight into the design :)

The EASIEST design is a golden egg! I decided to use gilding paint for this which is so easy!! The paint dries so quickly and isn't too hard to use.

TIP: This paint doesn't come off with just soap and water so either use a brush you don't mind discarding or clean it with some paint thinner.

Next up, I used pearl paint to paint the egg on the left (the one on the right is unpainted to show comparison) then moved onto the next step once it was fully dry.

I named this abstract since all you have to do is paint random C-like strokes!! I chose the colors I wanted and started with the lightest color and worked my way up to the darker color. I didn't even wait for the colors to dry in between if I'm being completely honest.

I wanted this to look a bit extra so I added some gold strokes and polka dots then sealed the paint with this clear varnish.

This final egg requires the most art "skill" of them all! I mixed a custom color (red, pink and brown) to make this burgundy and painted roughly 3 layers.

Once the paint had time to dry, I wrote "he is risen" to remind myself of the true meaning of Easter! Feel free to write any quote you want or leave it plain :)

Who would have thought such a simple process would make such beautiful eggs!
