Laura Cooperon Mar 25, 2018It's best to clean the carpets when the weather isn't too warm or too cool. After cleaning, open the windows and turn up the heat to assist the drying process. I usually use whatever carpet shampoo is available, but I use less than recommended. Go over the carpet with the shampoo water, then clean it again with either clear water or a little vinegar and water. This helps prevent shampoo build up and also leaves the carpet softer.HelpfulReply

I like to schedule on warm days so all the doors and windows can be open so that it dries faster. Fans work too.HelpfulReply

- Connie Quineon Mar 25, 2018We try to do ours twice a year, in the spring and the fall. It is best to pick a sunny day to do this, as it will help the carpets to dry quicker than if you have a rainy or snowy day.HelpfulReply
