Getting custom looks for less is my specialty. I am so excited to share my easy step-by-step tutorial on how to make your own designer crib bedding. From the bumpers, skirt, and even sheet, you can easily get your own favorite look for less.
You'll need the following supplies:

2 1/3 yards for your MAIN fabric

4 1/2 yards of PIPING {fabric and uncovered if making your own}

1 1/8 yard fabric for the TIES

cotton bumpers {they sell pre-packaged bumpers for about $15 at Joann with a coupon; or, go to a second-hand kid store and pick some up for cheap and then wash them and recover!}
Cut your fabric following these dimensions:
Then sew your ties and make your piping. {If you need more help on how to do this, visit my blog!}
Pin and sew together. As this picture explains
Ready for the skirt? This skirt is not yet hemmed, you'll want to put it in the crib, or measure the distance from the highest crib setting, before you hem so it is long enough.
For the skirt, all you need to do is cut the fabric with these dimensions and sew, right sides together, the skirt to the fabric under the mattress and hem.
I love the velvet pillow I made too! {Don't worry, it actually resides in my rocker and not the crib!}
So easy, right?!
