Shed Gets Major Overhaul

Our shed is actually attached to our garage...it's handy, but it was such a mess that it was embarrassing. My husband and I decided to just gut the entire thing and wound up finding a mouse hole and a whole lot of mouse droppings - oh yuck! We used Sherwin Williams paint to spruce it up, used a door for a countertop, and two bathroom cabinets from Habitat for Humanity for cupboards in there. We also planked the walls with 8 x 2 boards painted white. Organizing and beautifying the whole space was especially fun for me!

You said your shed was a real mess...I expected the before pics to look like my shed. That said, the after pics look really great, nice job.

You have inspired me to do something with my shed - Son who handles my yard and pool just piles stuff in there willy nilly - have tried various types of shelving before but so much stuff like big buckets of chlorine and other pool chemicals do not fit on standard shelving. Will maybe look at cabinets with adjustable shelves that I can lock to keep the chemicals safe. When spring comes I will get out there and hit it hard and heavy again!
