How to stop cats getting in garden?

Cats don't like the smell of citrus, so place lemon and lime rinds around to keep them away.
I shred Irish Spring original green soap and sprinkle it in my flower beds. Most animals dislike the strong scent. You will need to reapply after heavy rains or around every 3 weeks. It's a cheap, non-toxic fix. Hope this solves your problem.
You could put moth balls all over they don't like them and every so often replace them
DOllar Tree for Irish Spring...which by the way doesnt' work for me at all.
Sprinkle red pepper flakes on the area.
