I have painted glass with acrylic paint and chalk paint ! I am not sure if you are talking about glass lids but I hope this helps! Also be sure to clean glass with alcohol it get off dirt and grease!
Dora, I have painted glass with acrylic paint and chalk paint! Iam not sure if you are using glass lids but as long as you clean the glass with alcohol to remove dirt and grease that should be fine!
If you mean for the metal lids, I prefer spray paint. It gives a smooth and long lasting finish.
Acrylic paint doesn't adhere that well to metal, without primer/sealer.
Test it,but you may have to sand lightly first to rough up surface
It would work fine, I wound get a clear sealer to spray on them afterwords.
