Peel and stick backsplash help

Hi. I've just ordered a gorgeous peel and stick backsplash that will be arriving tomorrow to help me finish off my kitchen renovation. The backsplash will stick to tile no problem but the issue is I have these smaller tiles on the side and I'm not sure what to do about the top of them as they do stick out a bit and will be exposed. I dont want to pry them off of the wall at this time but I definitely want to put the backsplash on them because if I don't it'll look off... Should I caulk over the top after applying the backsplash to these smaller tiles or paint the tops of the tiles? Any ideas?

I would add wood trim painted to match your new backsplash design

Another option would be to buy some plywood that is the same thickness as the tiles and mount to the wall so that the entire area is the same all the way up,

I'd use a 1/4 round, or other decorative molding same color as the wall

Try painting it first to see if you like the look, if not Try putting a piece of molding to cover. Just get a piece and temporarily tape it up there to see if you like before diving in on the whole thing.

I agree with Keith Lonborg. I would glue 1/4" lauan plywood above the tile to level the wall. Anything else would look off and draw the eye to it.

Just wanted to tell you that I love the color and style. Could you please tell me where did you order these from. I'm redoing my kitchen in tuscany, and these would be perfect.

Finish them off with a close matching silicone caulking if you don't want to go with the other suggestions.
