Use a pre-emergent weed killer formulated for gardens, such as Preen, in Spring. Apply mulch to any bare ground. Pull weeds when young, before they seed. Good Luck!
Yep. Preen will prevent new weeds from growing. Mulch will smother any weed growth. At least two to three inches of mulch.
Mulch is the best way. Weed and then add about 3 inches of mulch around your plants.
