The have privacy slats that go into the chain link that block views.
Any home improvement center will have "rolls" of privacy fencing options to attach to existing fencing, from twigs, to bamboo to wood slats. All depends on your style and budget.
you can add plants that vine : honeysuckle, clematis, to name two.. Also think of arborvitae, an evergreen that is tall and thin in habit. Depending on how tall, you could add trellis above of it and use the vines grow up both

You can purchase privacy slats to insert in the chain of a chain link fence. We did this several year ago and it made a huge difference. There is more then one type of slat. We went with the larger one intended to give as much privacy as possible. They are plastic and come in many colors. Easy to install and they just need to be rinsed with a garden hose every year or two.
Artificial hedge screen or grow plants up chain link. Or form a Trellis ........
You can also weave in strips of painters drop cloth or even strips of a vinyl tarp. Anything will work that is more weather proof.
