What to do with large cardboard tubes.

I woke at an architectural/engineer firm with wide format printer, the rolls have a large cardboard core that is about 3 1/2 feet tall. I hate to throw them away but looking for ideas on how to use them, suggestions?

I don't know if you have children? If so, you could roll their "art" and other paper work type things and store with each child having their own tube.
You could make Christmas candle decorations out of them.
mod Podge kids art work on outside plug one end and store there hot wheels or small toys
Wrap table linens on them to avoid creases on your tablecloths. Check out Pinterest for toilet paper tube ideas.
Donate them to a local Jr. High, or High School, especially in less advantaged areas. Kids this age usually jump at the challenge to build structures in science or physics classes. More often than not, there is just no budget, and teachers are paying out of their own pockets for these kinds of hands-on resources.
