Are there any do’s/dont’s to installing galvanized steel?

    Hi Cindy!

    There aren't any don'ts really but the most and biggest DO is to make sure it is securely and thoroughly waterproofed at it's seems.

      shower stall and around claw foot tub. Thinking of having friend use automotive clear coat sprayed too to prevent rust

    Yes, you would need a sealer and probably would need to be periodically re applied, and not be scrubbable with abrasives. another important tip would be sure to use non rusting hardware, like screw, bolts, washers, etc. Otherwise you'll have rust stains running down all that pretty metal!
