Just a suggestion since you are from Texas. I live in Oklahoma where the "wind comes roaring down the plains" and although these are attractive and unique I am not sure they would hold up well in strong winds.

Pinterest has a number of people explaining how to construct a hog-wire and wood framed fence. Rather handsome, actually. Or google “wood and wire fence design. Lots of elegant choices out there, including some Texas companies.
