looks like you need a retaining wall.without knowing your circumstances not much information can be given.what is your goal

We did the interlocking block thing. The wall was put up over 10 years ago and looks beautiful. We just pressure wash it every spring. Gave us so much more flat land for shrubs. Love it would do it again in a heartbeat.
Plant a row of monkey grass. In a year, it should fill the area, help keep the dirt wall from falling further, and provide a background for whatever you plant lower down. ☺️
