10 Things to Do With a Broken Spindle...and More!
Okay, I had trouble writing this post. Why? Because it started with 3 things to do with a broken spindle, then I went upstairs and it turned to 7 things, then 10 and I finally had to add a plus at the end.
I love using old broken spindles in projects around the house. The chippy paint and great turnings add so much character to me.
I have a bucket full of spindles to use for future projects. Wahoo!

10 things to do with a broken spindle.
Adding split spindles for detail to frames and furniture.
I needed a towel bar in the laundry. This spindle is perfect. I added screws to each end and a metal spacer. Easy!
This is the cabin hooks I hung upstairs for guests. I made the hooks and although the pole was a broom handle in it's other life, it's sort of a spindle too.
This sits way up on top of our kitchen cabinets and is filled with dusty {just being honest} beaded artificial something!! But I like the spot of color and the long spindle handle.
I love displaying things like cupcakes on tiers. Since I'm trying to eat healthy...I'm displaying flowers. I used a spindle from an old bed to make this tier.

3.7. Then 10 plus one..ha...you sound just like me..cool ideas i could add one more lol...candle stick? I do have my spinels from my staircase an as it was such a labour of love i kept a few older ones..Im trying to drill the middle out..having a break now.untill tomozz...
