Is there a worn spot? Is it just needing protection from wear?
Is the covering genuine leather, leather composite, or pleather (aka vinyl)?
OK. That narrows it down a bit, but is it possible to post a picture of the headboard? Without seeing a picture it is difficult to know what the shape and dimensions are of the padding, and the scale of the headboard to the rest of the bed. That way more Hometalkers could see exactly the area of concern, and would be able offer possible solutions specific to your situation.
