I have 8 dogs but for 4 months I had 13 , I rescued a mom and her 3 pups and then rescued another pup a few days later. I have yellow grass in some areas is there anything I can do besides putting new grass in those areas. I am an xpat
from Canada and have ben living in Ajijic, Mexico for 6 1/2 years. Thanks for any advice.

Use the cheapest dish soap you can find on yellow spots. Squirt some dish soap on these area and with your hose suds it up. Yellow spot will go away. Will not hurt your yard and it will green up again. Make sure you use phosphate free soap. Female dogs leave yellow spots, add a little baking soda to their water it will help. This is also helpful if you have burnt your yard with fertilizers.

Epson salt sprinkled on the affected area will not also do wonders . Grab a handful , sprinkle it around and water with hose or do this just before a good rain.

i agree with the two above, however you can also apply hand fulls of hydrated lime (won't burn your hands) and water in well. kills bad bacteria and encourages beautiful green growth
