How long do I keep my baby seedling tomato plants indoors?

    they need to have about 4 leaves on each plant and the last frosts should be gone. the weather in iowa has been a bit funky.....i drove home in sleet last tuesday. 30 degree f.

    until after the last expected frost date for you location

    Once the ground soil is warm, minimum fifty degrees, they can be planted. In Florida, I assume you are already at that point. Good luck!

    It's usually the middle of May before it's safe to plant in NE Pennsylvania.

      I live in FL.Thanks for your answer.I lived on Long Island for many years and we never planted outside until after Memorial Day,and sometimes we did get the cold weather back and plants died.Enyou your planting

    You won't get anymore cold weather in Fla now. Get them out there. I used to live in Fla for over 40 yrs
