Make full use of any walls. Use a folding screen or a Wardrobe you could fit out and close up when not in use.......
Try to have your desk near a window, but make sure the light and sun don't shine on your computer screen. You can purchase a small desk at a department store, that maybe you have to assemble. You'll need a trash can, some sort of basket on your desk for files, and papers. Buy a portable file tote, you can put it under your desk. Buy some supplies, such as, ruler, stapler, paper clips, etc. Good Luck!

Corner desk. Floating shelves to use more wall space than floor space.
(1) Purchase two Ikea Billie bookcases if you can, because they are taller than others, thus offering the most storage. If you are not near/cannot order online, purchase two other knock-down bookcases (which means they come in a box and you put them together) in white or a wood tone that goes with your bedroom. You will angle them in the corner. Secure to the wall and to each other. (2) Now use a piece of at least 26" deep wood/shelving/masonite, 1/2" thick, to go atop the center shelves (screw down) and create a desktop surface. Drill a hole in the back to run your lamp cord, computer cables, etc. through. (3) Use attractive baskets on the upper shelves for files, copy paper, a live plant (on top), family photo or two, etc. and the shelves below for the less attractive supplies.
