I found Washing machine cleaning liquid in the laundry dertergent isle at the Walmart, that you pour in the empty washer and run the washer one cycle and it smells no more! I was sooo happy!

You can also use a commercial washing machine cleaner such as SmellyWasher, but vinegar is more cost effective and just as efficient.
