How do you get "road haze" off a windshield easily?

Plain old vinegar or rubbing alcohol! Wipe the windshield wiper blades too as that is part of the problem. Wipe down with the vinegar or alcohol then wipe down with water then dry with chamois, lint free cotton cloth or microfiber cloth. ONLY perform this task in the shade and when the windshield is cool.

P.S. Do not get either on paint, it can ruin the paint finish.

Try using WD - 40 don't know that it works but it might The other thought is tea tree oil.......?

Naomii gave you a great answer! What you are experiencing on your windshield is a thin layer of road dirt/film, wipers just smear this around. The wiper fluid helps clear this, but it needs a bit more than that to get it all off.

I am not a fan of rainex, have had a smeary mess from it too.

I agree with the rainex making a mess, I have seen this happen too. The vinegar will cut the crud and shine the windshield, too.

Occasionaly the haze is from the drive thru car wash....the wax is sprayed over every thing.

Try using shave cream on the windshield.

If it's coming from the inside,? Then clean it first with Windex/window cleaner... Same with outside,... Then it should stay clear. If it's like foggy, or misty, is it humidity and moisture,? then run the defrost

The only thing I KNOW gets rid of oil/ grease, is, Dawn dish washing liquid
