What can I do with prescription bottles?

I hate throwing out prescription bottles . I have allot of them . After removing the label I just feel there's got to be more to do than recycling. I'm not very handy. I tried to put holes to make chimes but they cracked.

Often, I use mine to store thumbtacks, small nails, buttons, any small items, and I put in my kitchen "junk" drawer. Even rubber bands can go in them.
Make mini emergency kits: fill with band-aids and tweezers for a first aid kit; fill with thread (wound around a small piece of cardboard) ,needle and safety pins for a sewing kit; Krazy Glue and a small screw driver and spare batteries for other emergencies. My mother in law uses them to store beads for jewelry making
You can use them for small sewing supplies I.e. needles in one, buttons in another etc. I use one to carry my days vitamins...(they get taken at different times of the day). I also carry a headache remedy in one. From time to time when we go to a special event, I stuff a cotton ball with my perfume on it in one to refresh as needed!
