    Hostas can easily be transplanted

  • Did you mean Hostas? I would dig them up, divide, and share with friends and neighbors!

Dig them, divide them, give them away! Put them in a bucket with a "FREE" sign on them.

You could also list them on line, there are probably quite a few people that would love free hostas. In the mean time, dig up what you want to get rid of in pots, they will do well as long as you water them, until they are claimed. I did this with existing hostas when I revamped my front garden and they were in pots for probably two months. The next season, they picked right up in their new spots and you can't tell they were moved.

You can put them on Craigslist. It is completely free to use.
