House foundation - any clever ideas other than simply painting?

I have a tiny beach bungalow with faded yellow siding. I want to perk her up and think the cement foundation would be a good place to start but trying to think of something creative. Lattice?....

What about facing the foundation with the faux stone siding?

Since your bungalow is at the beach, you have to be careful what you put on the foundation. Because of all the extra moisture, certain things don't work and will not hold up. I suggest putting stone around the foundation. That's what we did and it's very easy to maintain. Here's an example:

  Thank you, it was our home, which we built, but we sold it. It was 2 blocks from the beach so I know what is and isn't good for a beach area. That's why I suggested a stacked stone with the stones on the smaller size.
