How can I make a simple sitting area in a space where there is mulch?

Do you have a bench or couple of chairs? What I did was made a area put a bench off to the side. Added a few perennials. I also have done a area with a large sitting rock outlined with small rocks. Added a rose of sharon tree, iris, lavender. Very nice area
Level the area, put down a few pavers and add your seating
you don’t need pavers under your seating. Use pavers as stepping stones to the seating. flowers in pots flanking your sitting area can add interest and draw the eye and invite guests to sit

On foot Pavers are often on sale at Home depot for $1 each. Clear mulch with a rake from an area, level the area for the pavers with a small shovel. Snug them together and push the mulch back.
