I found this table on Craigslist for Free, so I took it and spent only about $30 to redo it. Here's how I gave it a new look with a simple make over.
Step 1: I first sanded it down to get rid of all the old clear coat and then I stained it with a Black Cherry Semi-Gloss stain.
Step 2: After I wiped the table down I applied 3 coats of the Stain. It's starting to really look great.
I covered the entire table with the stain. After the stain dried for an entire day I Applied the Poly and then let it dry for 24 hours.

Step 3: And then I polyurethaned it with 3x thick Satin Stain. Then I cleaned it with Totally Awesome cleaner that you can get at the Family Dollar.

Step 4: Then I let it dry and then I sanded it lightly with a 120 sanding block.
Step 5: I put the table all back together and there you have it. Here is the finished table, and it looks great!
