    ACCENT WALL is what i meant - the wall that the fireplace is on.

    I think the agate green looks best

      @Amy Hodgen I agree..it's a nice grey green.

    The agate green does look good but hard to say for sure without knowing what your other colors are.

    I vote for agate green.

    I like the Agate Green too, but would love to see a photo with more of the wall in it! P.S. The January issue of "Southern Living" featured some greens. I want my living and dining rooms painted "Healing Aloe"....I love this green. (It is Benjamin Moore)

    My personal preference is Dill, but that's because I love green. I, like DeEtte, feel the need to see more of your room.Without that you'll only get others tastes or guesses.The more info and photos you post the better response you'll get Tammy.

    @Tammy Fuller i still maintain if you have samples painted on the wall every time you walk into the room one will catch your eye just have fun and don't stress it is only paint xx

    I like the Cilantro green, but as Tammy Fuller said don't stress it's only paint. Enjoy the process, if you end-up hating it re paint. Have fun.

    These are old posts, did you go with the Agate green? Would have been my first choice.

    The mantle (because it has slight orangey tones) will stand out most against the bluest green because they are opposite each other on the color wheel. So the kale green would be the choice if you want the mantle to really pop. Dill is nice if you want to have mantle be softer looking against the wall.

    Agate. It sits well with the wood and is a softer green, which I would prefer as an accent colour. The others look a bit over powering.

    Show more of the area. It'll be easier for us all to help you. All I see is the wood mantel. Usually other things in the room will affect your color choice too...not to mention your lighting both natural and artificial. :-)

    Well, I like colours that are darker than is now fashionable. But, if you are looking for that airy look, I would go with the agate green, and if you find that the gold wood predominates and makes the wall too pale in comparison, you good wax your wood with a white wax or pickling wax until you like the balance of the 2 colours.
