It would be for the bottom of the bag. It should be flexible, lightweight and unbreakable. And of course, inexpensive.

I would recommend canvas, as that has personally worked best for me.
Canvas but as a non-sewer, I usually buy the reusable bags at the store for $1.00.
what about a gallon sized empty milk container? two sides of it should be strong enough and large enough to make a base for a bag.
