What can I do with an old fireplace log holder?

    Newspapers, magazines...when it’s good and clean, it can hold pillows and throws for when it gets chilly.

    Not really much. Have you thought about making an outside fire pit, something to sit by and hold hands with a loved one?

    Are you talking about the one in the fireplace, or the one that stays outside the fireplace holding the wood waiting to go into the fireplace.

    If it cleans up really well, you could turn it inside or outside into a footrest for a chair by putting something a little firm on it and adding a pillow to fit. You could also turn it into a pet bed if you have a cat or a small dog.
